Caution

Applicants must understand that Hokkaido Tourism Organization may use the image data submitted through the entry form for secondary purposes in its Hokkaido tourism PR activities.

Submission guidelines

• Submission period: Summer: (Thur.) Aug. 1, 2024 to (Mon.) Sep. 30, 2024
  Autumn: (Tue.) Oct. 1, 2024 to (Sat.) Nov. 30, 2024
  Winter: (Sun.) Dec. 1, 2024 to (Fri.) Jan. 31, 2025
• Photos that can be submitted:
  A memorable photo taken by you in Hokkaido within the past 5 years

Application terms

• Hokkaido Tourism Organization may reference (including retweeting, reposting, and sharing on stories) submitted photos, comments, etc. on our related website and official social media accounts. In such cases, please note that we will not notify applicants individually.
• Please be aware that the submitted images may be used to introduce this campaign and for PR activities for Hokkaido tourism conducted by Hokkaido Tourism Organization.
• Entries that do not match the theme of the campaign, are offensive to public order and morals, may infringe on the rights of third parties, or are otherwise deemed inappropriate by Hokkaido Tourism Organization will not be published. The reason for not publishing them will not be disclosed.
• Applicants agree not to claim author’s moral rights to the submitted photos.
• Hokkaido Tourism Organization will not be held responsible for any infringement of portrait rights, copyrights, or other rights of third parties with regard to submitted photos.
• Submitted photos must be taken by the applicant.
• Composite photos and significant manipulation are not allowed.

Prize selection process

• The winner of the giveaway will be notified by email and the prize will be shipped.
• Inquiries regarding the results of the competition will not be accepted.
• Please be aware that prizes are subject to change.
• If any of the required information to receive the prize is not completed, or if any false information is provided, the application will be voided.
  In addition, if we are unable to contact the winner due to reasons such as a missing address, relocation address, or phone number, we reserve the right to cancel the prize.
• The right to win belongs solely to the winner. Transfer of winning rights or prizes to a third party or exchange for cash is strictly prohibited.
• It is strictly prohibited to sell the winning rights or prizes for cash at auctions, etc.

Handling of personal information

• The personal information provided by applicants will only be used to send the prizes to the prize winners, and will not be provided to any third party other than Hokkaido Tourism Organization, the Management Office, and prize delivery company.
