A spring park in Kyogoku Town selected for Japan's Top 100 Waters in 1985, where 80,000 tons of underground water from Mount Yotei wells up daily.

Snow and rain that accumulates on Mount Yotei seeps into the geological layers, and after decades of filtration and purification, the water continuously wells up. The water temperature remains constant at about 6.5 degrees Celsius year-round, and when the cool, cold water touches your hands, a refreshing sensation spreads throughout your body. Seeing the highly transparent water welling up close, you are captivated by its clear beauty. The sound of water vigorously gushing from the spring openings echoes, and the scent of pure water and forest drifts around. At Roadside Station Meisui Plaza in the park, products made with this famous water are displayed, and local sake Kyogoku is also popular.

Near the park is Kyogoku Onsen, where the magnificent view of Mount Yotei from the outdoor bath is spectacular. You can spend luxurious time gazing at the famous peak while soaking in the hot water. Park golf courses and campgrounds are also available, providing an environment where you can enjoy the famous water while spending time in nature.
