Mt. Yotei

A beautiful mountain with a rich natural environment, and which is popular among climbers

Mt. Yotei is affectionately known as "Ezo Fuji" because of its resemblance to Mt. Fuji. Standing at an altitude of 1,898 m, there are four climbing courses that take between four to six hours to complete. Those who ascend to the summit can enjoy panoramic views of the Sea of Japan and the Pacific Ocean. In summer, it is possible to see about 80 types of alpine plants near the summit.
