apporo Ekimae-dori is the city’s vibrant main artery, stretching in a perfectly straight line from the South Exit of Sapporo Station through Odori Park and into the bustling Susukino district.

Strolling down this grand avenue, you are greeted by a lush canopy of plane trees that form a "green arch," adding a soft, natural touch to the modern cityscape. On either side, a dynamic mix of hotels, department stores, and office buildings hum with the energy of locals and travelers alike. On clear days, the contrast between the crisp blue sky, sleek skyscrapers, and swaying leaves creates a refreshing atmosphere, with the gentle rustle of the trees providing a light soundtrack to your walk.

Beneath the surface, the avenue offers a seamless, all-weather experience through "Chi-Ka-Ho" (Sapporo Ekimae-dori Underground Walking Space) and the Sapporo Underground Mall.
