Furano Wine House
Furano-grown wine and factory-exclusive products
A brick wine factory on the hills of Furano where you can tour the manufacturing process, enjoy tastings, and stroll through the adjacent lavender garden.
At the brick factory built on a hill with a good view, you can tour the manufacturing process of Furano Wine made from grapes grown in Furano's land. While witnessing the bottling line in operation and the sight of aging wine lined up in the storage warehouse, you can learn the entire flow of winemaking. After the tour, you can taste Furano Wine and grape juice at the tasting corner, and when you take it in your mouth, rich aroma and deep flavor spread. At the shop, various wines are available including factory-exclusive products that can only be obtained here, and you can take home the taste nurtured by Furano's climate.
At the Furano Budogaoka Park Lavender Garden adjacent to the factory, early-blooming lavender blooms like a purple carpet from mid-June to mid-July. The sweet and refreshing fragrance of lavender drifts on the wind, and combined with the rural landscape of Furano viewed from the hilltop, you are enveloped in a pastoral atmosphere typical of Hokkaido. It is a spot where you can spend luxurious time that satisfies the five senses, enjoying wine tasting and lavender fragrance.
