Noboribetsu Marine Park Nixe, located in Noboribetsu Higashi-machi, Noboribetsu City, is an impressive aquarium with a pure white "Nixe Castle" modeled after a Danish medieval castle. Inside the castle, about 400 species of marine life are exhibited, and passing through the entrance, an 8m-high giant tower tank appears before you. In the tank imagining southern coral reefs, colorful tropical fish swim gracefully, creating fantastic scenes dancing in blue water. Standing before the tank, you can faintly hear the sound of fish swimming through the glass, and the ripples of water draw patterns of light reflected on the walls.

In the Aqua Tunnel inside, schools of sardines and horse mackerel swim overhead shining silver, giving the sensation of walking underwater. In Hokkaido's largest jellyfish tank, jellyfish with transparent bodies drift leisurely, creating fantastic scenes illuminated by soft lighting. In the penguin parade held year-round, you can observe penguins walking adorably and waddling up close, with their footsteps and penguin calls echoing. At the touch corner, you can directly touch sea creatures and experience the feel of cold seawater and the smooth texture of creatures' skin, making this an aquarium enjoyable for children and adults alike.
