Perched on one of the highest hills in Biei, this scenic park offers sweeping 360-degree views of the Tokachidake Range and the beautiful patchwork landscape of Biei.
Ideally located about halfway along the popular “Panorama Road” connecting JR Biei Station and JR Bibaushi Station, Shinei-no-Oka View Park sits atop a high ridge with wide-open views of the surrounding countryside. To the east, the majestic Tokachidake Range rises along the horizon, while red-roofed houses scattered across the rolling hills add a charming touch of color to the landscape. As evening approaches, the western sky turns into a dramatic display of crimson and deep violet, creating a sunset scene that is truly unforgettable.
From summer through autumn, the park is filled with vibrant salvia and sunflowers. A gentle breeze carries the sweet fragrance of flowers across the hills, creating a relaxing atmosphere for visitors.
