Mt.Tokachi Obesevatory
Mt.Tokachi Obesevatory is a 930-meter-high viewpoint located about 5 km from Shirogane Onsen toward Mt. Tokachi. Mt. Tokachi, an active volcano, offers a dynamic view of its volcanic fumes and bare rock surfaces. A 1.1-km walking trail is available for a 45-minute walk around the area, where you can see alpine flora in summer and magnificent autumn foliage in the fall.
