Located directly beneath the main peak of Mt. Tokachi, Tokachidake Bogakudai Observatory offers dramatic views of rugged volcanic terrain shaped by powerful natural forces. The site also features a disaster-prevention shelter completed in 2016, where visitors can learn about volcanic activity while enjoying views from the rooftop.
