Satsuraku Milk no Sato is an interactive facility operated by Satsuraku Dairy, a company with more than 100 years of history. Through exhibits, factory tours, and hands-on activities, visitors can discover the journey of milk from farm to table.

Founded in the Meiji era, Satsuraku Dairy has spent more than a century committed to healthy soil and quality dairy production. At Satsuraku Milk no Sato, visitors can explore Hokkaido’s dairy industry through hands-on experiences.

At the Cow Pavilion, you can observe dairy cows in a free-stall barn and learn about modern dairy farming. A life-size model cow offers a milking experience popular with both children and adults. Exhibits also introduce the history of dairy farming in Hokkaido and the milk production process.

At the Milk Pavilion, a short video explains production before visitors view the manufacturing line through large observation windows. The quality-control laboratory can also be seen, highlighting the care taken to ensure product safety and freshness.

After the tour, stop by the Makiba Pavilion to browse factory-direct dairy products, enjoy a meal, or sample the popular Hokkaido milk soft-serve ice cream.

Located next to Sapporo Sato-Land, Satsuraku Milk no Sato offers a relaxing day of learning, hands-on activities, and local flavors for visitors of all ages.
