SAIRINKA® is one of Tokachi’s signature winter events, where giant illuminated installations light up the snowy fields. Created from agricultural insulation materials and about 600 LED lights, the displays shift in color and brightness in sync with music. In the stillness of a subzero night, the vibrant lights transform the landscape into a mesmerizing fantasy. For the best view, climb the special observation deck and take in panoramic views of the illuminated snowfields and surrounding forest.

Visitors can reach the venue via “Hikari no Alley,” a glowing pathway leading from the hot spring resort. Along the way, real trees decorated as “Winter Cherry Blossoms” appear to bloom in the crisp air, creating one of the festival’s most popular photo spots.
